ORAL PRESENTATION GUIDELINES

Computers (Windows with PowerPoint (.pptx) and Adobe Reader (.pdf)) are available in all session rooms for your presentation. Files can be uploaded to the local computers during the registration or during the session breaks. Speakers must arrive in their session room 15 minutes before the start of their session. A computer assistant is in all session rooms for technical support.

Timing:

  • Plenary (45 min including discussion)
  • Invited (25 min + 5 min questions)
  • Oral (15 min + 5 min questions)

1.I am going to present my lecture virtually

Please record your lecture as an MP4 file (maximum file size up to 500 MB). Your lecture will be played according to the conference schedule. You will be asked to be online to answer questions after your presentation.

There is a cloud for file storage. Please use the link which was sent to you by e-mail to upload your file.

The deadline to submit a file is 19 November, 2021. Please include within a file name the number of your lecture and your family name, for example O21_Dybko.pptx.

2.I am going to deliver my lecture in person

A file with your presentation will be collected during the registration and it will be distributed to an appropriate lecture hall according to the conference program.

You can also use your own laptop.

POSTER PRESENTATION GUIDELINES

Poster sessions are scheduled on Monday and on Tuesday, during which all the posters will be presented and discussed. The posters have to be attached on Monday morning. The poster format is A0, 118.9 cm x 84.1 cm, portrait orientation (height > width). The assigned placement of each poster is marked on the panel with the unique poster number which appears in the final programme.

Posters will be attached to the panel with adhesive tape, which will be available on the panel. If more tape is needed, please contact one of the conference assistants or ask at the registration desk. Authors are free to take down their poster after the conference. Remaining posters will be collected by the organizers and discarded.

1. I am going to present my poster virtually.

Your poster must be saved as a pdf file.

The information on how to upload your poster to the online platform conference secretariat will be announced by 10 November 2021

Please include within a file name the number of your poster and your family name, for example P21_Dybko.pdf

We will print your poster in A3 format (free of charge) and we will hang it on the poster board during the poster session. You can also send to the conference chair your printed poster in a format 70×100 cm , portrait orientation (height > width). We will hang it but the poster will not be sent to you back.

The virtual poster session will be based on the conference online platform. You should be available online for questions during the poster session.

2. I am going to present my poster in person at the conference site in Warsaw.

Our idea is to present all posters as pdf files, even if you will be in person at the conference.

Your poster must be saved as a pdf file, and the file must be uploaded to the conference system.

The information on how to upload your poster to the online platform conference secretariat will be announced by 10 November 2021

Please include within a file name the number of your poster and your family name, for example P21_Dybko.pdf. The deadline to submit a file is 19 November, 2021.
